Kushtee as a band

Kushtee was formed in 2010 by Islana and Sacha as a rock group with the main aim being to have fun. They had been playing together for many years before as a 2 piece acoustic set at various open mic evenings and small private functions. With Kushtee, Isalana and Sacha both wanted to move away from an acoustic orientated set and onto playing the music they loved, out and about on the Jersey bar circuit with a fully electric band.

They formed the band with Kevin on drums and a very good friend of theirs on Bass who has since left to start a family. The trio of Islana, Kevin and Sacha have had a couple of bassists before finding Alex in 2013 whom, although a guitarist by design, has inserted himself structurally as a core part of Kushtee.

 

Kushtee have gigged at most venues in Jersey which have live music. These include, Chambers, The Halkett, The Ha'Penny Bridge, The Green Rooster, The Dolphin Bar and Hotel, The Star and many more...

 

Kushtee play a rang of music spanning 70's rock through to modern pop

and are available for all types of functions, Weddings, Parties, Public Events, Charity Events, Office events etc…
